i neva had any kind of interest in attending these kind of stuff but being the final semestr i wanted to do something i never did before.. so went for it.. but the experience was worth going.. i met so many gre8 minds there.. many new start up companies.. there ideas.. microsoft ans sun support for start ups..
and interesting thing is tht i met my alumnus.. 1988 batch( i guess i donn remember exactly)
eee senior.. Dharani nandakuru.. she was in New Jersey all these years and came back to india just 6 months before and her husband one of the gre8 minds there.. Mr.Vishy.. Head of Bell Labs, India Centre..
and now Dharani ma'm also has start up company.. "alertpedia.com" an alerting service which provides the information for the user on the alert he sets up thru either mail or sms.. like a person wants to buy a flat at some area.. he sets up alert and when there are availabilties then the alert will be sent to him .. this saves the time of guy as he need not go again and again for enquiry about that flat.. this works out very well in America.. now have to see how people get to this.. In INDIA.. hope she gets the sucess in this too....
and there were tutorials and lectures on CLOUD Computing and OPEN SOCIAL.. network platforms.. and even lectures on Entreprenuership.. By gre8 minds..
few to note: John from iduple, a printing shop(sorry i dont remember their name exactly), rangde start up, indusgeeks.. and many more..
on a whole it was an ULTIMATE experience..
